We are dedicated to preserving the Real Historic Greenville Pickens Speedway and ensuring that one of America’s most historic racing landmarks continues to serve our community for generations to come.
The future of Greenville Pickens Speedway is being built through a partnership between a privately owned LLC and The Real Historic Greenville Pickens Speedway, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The LLC will own and operate Greenville Pickens Speedway, overseeing the property, racing operations, entertainment events, facility improvements, and the long-term business operations necessary to make the speedway financially sustainable.
The nonprofit will work alongside the LLC as a community and preservation partner, focusing on initiatives that further its charitable mission—including preserving the history and legacy of Greenville Pickens Speedway, educational programming, STEM and workforce development opportunities, community programs, charitable events, and other qualifying projects and activities.
Our Vision Goes Far Beyond Racing
We envision a revitalized Greenville Pickens Speedway where motorsports history is preserved, families gather, children discover exciting STEM and workforce development opportunities, veterans and first responders are honored, local businesses benefit, and our community comes together.
The property has the potential to once again host racing while also becoming a year-round destination for car shows, festivals, concerts, charity events, educational programs, community gatherings, corporate events, and family entertainment.
This structure allows Greenville Pickens Speedway to have both a sustainable operating business and a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving its history and creating meaningful educational and community impact.
With the continued support of donors, sponsors, businesses, volunteers, racing fans, and community partners, we have an opportunity to protect an irreplaceable piece of American motorsports history while creating new opportunities for future generations and generating economic activity throughout the Upstate.
